Remember that, even with these charts, clothing from different manufacturers will fit differently.

 Many of our items are marked ‘freesize’ or ‘one-size’  and will fit UK 6 8 10. This is because many of the items we buy are made especially for us, using stretchy fabrics and ‘cut on the cross’ to give excellent fit to several sizes and shapes.

We feel that from experience our UK sizes SOMETIMES convert to two sizes less in USA sizing. 

If you are unsure I would go for the lower size i.e.  USA 6  you may need a UK 10 or  ask us for measurements.

 Measurement Sizing Guide

  UK size 6 will fit approx 31" bust, 24" waist and 33" hips

UK size 8 will fit approx 32" bust, 25.5" waist and 34.5" hips

 UK size 10 will fit approx 34" bust, 27" waist and 36" hips

 UK size 12 will fit approx 36" bust, 28" waist and 38" hips

   UK size 14 will fit approx 37" bust, 30" waist and 39.5" hips

UK size 16 will fit approx 39" bust, 32" waist and 41.5" hips

UK size 18 will fit approx 41" bust, 34.5" waist and 43.5" hips

 
Jeans and Trousers

Many are ‘low waisted’ and as such the waistband is usually1 - 2 inches larger than in a dress size

 Size 6 = 24 /25inch waist; Size 8 = 26inch waist

Size 10 = 28inch waist; Size 12 = 30inch waist

Size 14 = 32 inch waist; Size 16 = 34 inch waist

Size 18 = 36 inch waist; Size 20 = 38 inch waist
